Without a doubt, the pandemic has impacted education in drastic and abrupt ways. Governments as well as educational institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean have had to face numerous problems since the beginning of COVID while other previous issues have been exacerbated. Our panelists talked about the challenges and issues on the rights and access to education in the Spanish-speaking Caribbean (Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Cuba) and how the pandemic has impacted an already fragile situation.
